| The Word of God We believe in sound balanced Bible teaching by gifted servants of God. We not only want to give proper biblical interpretation but also proper application to peoples and to walk out our beliefs in everyday practical living. Prayer Jesus taught us how to pray; the early church was birthed in prayer; and the end time church will be an offensive force in the earth because of prayer. We believe that God answers prayer and the church is to be a house of prayer. Worship God the Father seeks those who worship Him in spirit and truth. Our worship is to be from the heart, expressing our love to Him in return for His love to us. God has promised to manifest His presence in the middle of worshipping people, therefore we also value His presence working in and through our lives. Relationships The New Testament Church is people, not programs, not buildings, but people who have been converted to Jesus Christ. God has placed a deep need for fellowship within every on of us, and we are committed to developing relationships with a purpose. The purpose is to encourage one another in our faith and to help each other reach out to others who need a church family. Evangelism Jesus called us to go and make disciples of all different kinds of people. In today’s world there are hurting people everywhere, and it is a great opportunity for the church of Jesus Christ to impact our culture. The most effective way to win the lost and hurting is to win their trust and to unconditionally love them into the kingdom of God. When we work together we can impact our community with the message of His love. |
