| We are to be (and become) Christ-centered people 1. The message of a Christ-centered people is “Jesus is Lord” and we must respond to Him in that way. 2. Jesus did not purchase part of us, but all of us. 3. We are to give to Him the entire devotion of the heart. 4. We are to be a people that worship Him in spirit and in truth. 5. We are to be a people of faith…Jesus says it and we do it. We are to Equip the Believer 1. Equipping the believer begins with an atmosphere, and that atmosphere must be “agape” (unconditional love). 2. There must be leaders that are called, committed, trained, and anointed with the Holy Spirit. 3. All leaders must have a servant’s heart. 4. Relationships must be a priority. 5. The Word of God must be taught in systematic, practical ways. 6. There must be training tracks that help people in life, relationships, families, etc. 7. Leaders need to be “treasure hunters” (What has God put in people and how can it be drawn out and put to work.) CCABQ's Meetings 1. There must be a dynamic Sunday morning service that contains: Worship, Prayer, the Word of God, and Ministry Time. 2. A Kids church that contains the above. 3. There must be a weekday service that teaches, trains, and equips people including youth and children. 4. There must be small group ministry which unites people with common interests and includes some sort of mentoring and discipleship. We must Extend the Kingdom 1. We need to be in constant prayer for those with whom we come in contact. Only the Holy Spirit can convict of sin and restore the heart. 2. We need to build relationships and share the good news of Jesus Christ with those God has placed around us whether it be at work, home, school, etc. 3. We need to be actively involved in the biblical ministries of helping the widows, orphans, single mothers, the elderly, prisoners, and the poor. 4. We need to support missionaries to every tribe, tongue, race, and nation. |
