Is CITY Church part of a denomination? No. City Church is an autonomous local church made up of people of many different denominational backgrounds. Although we are autonomous, we are not an independent congregation. We are related to a group of other like-minded churches through Minister’s Fellowship International (MFI) located in Portland, Oregon. MFI has over 400 churches and missionaries involved in establishing the kingdom of God and is restoring His church to biblical function and power. We are part of the historic, apostolic, biblical, New Testament Church. |

What children's ministries do you have? We have a fully staffed nursery, Sunday school for children under 6 years of age, and K.I.D.S. church for the rest. On Sunday mornings, the nursery is available during the entire worship service. The other children remain with their parents during the praise and worship portion of the main service. They are then dismissed to their classes where they receive teaching and participate in activities appropriate for their age. |

Do you have a youth group? Yes. Generation 2:9 includes Mid-School through high-school ages and they meet on Wednesday nights at the church. They are challenged to seek God in their personal lives and learn how to impact the present youth culture. Generation 2:9 gets it's name from the verse 1 Peter 2:9 - "But you are a chosen generation..." For more information check out their website at www.generation29.com |

How long is your Sunday service? Our Sunday service usually lasts between an hour and 45 minutes and two hours. |
|
Do you have mid-week services? No. We have set up focus groups as a way for our congregation to build relationships outside of the Sunday service. These meetings can be "focused" on a Bible study, an activity like scrapbooking or hiking, or other things in common like homeschooling. The key is that every group, every time they meet will pray together and build relationships. |
|
How would you describe your church? Our church is a family oriented church that truly loves one another. Our desire is to live out our faith in practical ways where God receives all the glory. Our entire focus is on relationships: with God, with each other, with the world. |
